Competition Details:

Venue: Cranfield University
Participants: The contest is open to any MSc / PhD students registered at a UK University. Applications are limited to 2 students per university.
Further Requirements: A letter of support will be needed from the students supervisor and should be forwarded to the contact above
Task:
- Students will be presented with a precision engineering problem in written form when they arrive at Cranfield for the test. No prior information will be provided.
- They will be given 1 hour to study the problem and develop a 5 minute presentation of their proposed solution.
- The presentation should explain the proposed solution and provide reasoning as to why it is the ideal. Marks will be given for precision engineering quality, innovation and presentation skills.
