SIOS manufactures precision laser-interferometric measuring systems for use in nanometrology that measure lengths, angles and vibrations with ultrahigh resolutions in a width measuring range. The flexible organizational structure allows adapting equipment to be manufactured to suit special customer requirements and conditions of use.
A main product of SIOS is the Nanopositioning and Nanomeasuring Machine NMM. This machine has a positioning range of 25 x 25 x 5 mm and a resolution of 0.1 nm.
Application areas of the SIOS laserinterferometric measuring systems are in nanometrology, microelectronic-device fabrication, gauging and calibration, microtechnology, industrial testing and inspection, research and development.
SIOS will be presenting in Delft 2010 the Nano Vibration Analyzer for noncontacting vibration measurements on micro objects, MEMS and cantilevers.
